Nothing really happened today. I used the bus for the first time I like the well organized, reliable, clean public transport here. I can’t believe that I will go back to Dublin… which honestly is way behind Singaporean standards. I never expected myself considering moving close to the equator. I am not serious about it… but it only once happened to me that I liked a city like that.
Anyways, today after work I went to Orchard road which turned out as a street full of shopping centres. It is still me: I hate shopping, I have no space in my luggage for gifts and I have no need to get anything… so there couldn’t be any place worse for me than this one. I kinda liked the market more where I ran into on Sunday noon.
I picked a restaurant from my guide, missed my way. When I finally arrived the whole building was closed for reconstruction work. I ended up in a posh food hawker having some Tokyo ramen and unagi. I loved the sushi, the soup was ok…
On my way back I got another two local drinks: the ginger beer is the best flavored drink I got so far here, the pomelo barley flavored one the worst.
I also failed on using the camera: the focus wasn’t set to auto and most of the photos came out blurry. So just a few pics today…
